Relive the energy and creativity of No Kings Day for Democracy through this highlight video and coverage from Stanford Journalism.
On June 14—No Kings Day—several thousand proud, outraged citizens attended the “We the People” Parade and Democracy Fair in Palo Alto. This fall, for No Kings 2, we will revive the spirit of that event with a joyful gathering that empowers people to take action against MAGA tyranny.
On October 18, we will come together in a welcoming and safe environment with a clear and deeply patriotic purpose: to educate, inspire, and train people for the ongoing fight to defend democracy against authoritarianism.
Gather at 11:30 a.m. at El Camino & Embarcadero; step off at 12:30 p.m. for a short, peaceful, patriotic sidewalk march to Rinconada Park. Family-friendly—bring signs, American flags, musical instruments, and costumes as we celebrate our rights and our community.
1:00–4:00 p.m. at Rinconada Cultural Park. An action-oriented, family-friendly afternoon with hands-on action stations, creative workshops, partner tables highlighting local efforts, and a dedicated kids’ area. Come ready to learn, have fun, and leave with a skill, a plan, and new connections.
